Avatar is a story about injured former marine Jake a paraplegic war veteran played by Sam Worthington, thrust unwillingly into an effort to utilize an exotic planet rich in biodiversity, which is also due to lead the indigenous race in a battle to survive in the planet of Pandora, which is inhabited by Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Coming from the earth is a conflict with one another and local culture.

Avatar is directed by James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington, Zoë Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi and Stephen Lang. The Avatar film opens on December 18, 2009.

Guitar Hero Video Game Reality TV Show

The buzz stems from a Reuters story that Guitar Hero might be making the leap from video games into other entertainment media with a reality tv show, Reuters also quoted Activision CEO Bobby Kotick as saying the game might make for "a good TV show or concert tour," while the reporting subject has since seemed to wane from the internet.
